Brief History
People don't travel to southern Louisiana to skinny dip in the swamps with the alligators! They go there to enjoy the fantastic food and get some Cajun style R&R. We here at Soileau's Seasoning never figured out how to pack a year's worth of "Louisiana Saturday Nights" in a bottle, but several years ago Avery Soileau, from Acadia Parish~ the heart of Louisiana's Cajun Country, figured out how to bottle the flavor of Louisiana when he developed "THE Bayou Blend" Seasoning. Not long after that he came up with our awesome Chili Seasoning.
Our products were created out of necessity. We just got tired of the "run of the mill" seasonings in grocery stores. We wanted something that not only tasted good, but was good for you.
Avery developed "THE Bayou Blend" originally to use on meats, and meat dishes, but it didn't take long for us to realize that we had the most diverse spice blend on the market. "THE Bayou Blend" is used for meats and seafood, as well vegetables, pasta, and eggs. We even make some dip recipes as well as Bayou Bread (Cajun version of Garlic Bread) with it...not to mention that it is super sprinkled on french fries popcorn and green salads! "THE Bayou Blend'' is LOW SODIUM, SUGAR FREE and has NO MSG.
Our Chili Seasoning is equally versatile. One night our children wanted some Chili Dogs so we bought several cans of "hot dog chili." They were all nasty. Avery told our children that he would make some from scratch. When I tried it I loved it. I told him that if he added beans it would make great regular chili. The next day we added some black beans and that was it! We knew we had something good. We also use our Chili Seasoning for our Touchdown Chili Dip, Chili Cheese Dip, and Chili-Mac. Soileau's Chili Seasoning is also LOW SODIUM, SUGAR FREE, and has NO MSG. We've actually had customers use our Chili Seasoning in Chili Cook-offs and win!

I love Soileau's Seasoning I use it all the time on chips and all sorts of other foods. This is what I have to say about Soileau's Seasoning,''IT ROCKS''!!!!!
